The Newry, Mourne & Down Intercultural Forum is an interagency partnership with a mission to create opportunities to embrace diversity and inclusivity with BME communities.
The agencies seek to promote peaceful integration, active interaction and communication in an environment of mutual respect and support. Their aim is to achieve sustainable coexistanse between the diverse communities with different cultural backgrounds, traditions and languages.

Opportunity Statement
The Intercultural Forum aims to adopt a strategic approach to identify the real needs of BME communities. They work to promote equality, diversity and interdependence by maximising resources and opportunities, in the hope that it will encourage people to live and create a shared future for all Newry, Mourne and Down residents.
Newry, Mourne and Down Intercultural Forum main objectives are:
1. Promote the Forum’s work.
2. Share resources and information between agencies.
3. Integrate communities, to embrace cultural differences and diversity.
